looks pretty cool Bram :)
I like the search and nav, actually all the little details are nice.
I think my main issue with this design is your placing and spacing. I think it looks a bit funny having the menu right up against the nav bar and then having the content pushed over.. seems alot of space is wasted.
I'd also darken/lower the opacity of the background ;)

i like this a lot ! the background looks great (curious as to how you will code it later, how you will repeat it...), the colours fit perfectly and i especially like the little embossings and bevels on the menu

i'll have to agree with Laurie about the placing though...

I like it :)

Pros:
- very good colors
- nice effects
- works altogether

Cons:
- menu/sidebar headers font

And this definitely isn't Minimal :)

Love the colors. I would sort of blend the bottom of the gray back into the wallpaper but that's me. nice job [link]
